AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The chromium content provides good hardness
penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength.
The dies are heat treated (HRC43°~45°) and have a zinc phosphate surface treatment

I use them every day and has never let me down, comfy grip, the main reason bought them is because i didn’t want to carry multiple crimpers in my bag to take up space and weigh me down.

Brilliant – I love this crimper. Insulated and plain lugs to bootlaces big or small in seconds. Highly recommended, and I have had mine for years now, and used it for all the above.
